Olive oil is part of Don Bosco’s history and tradition in Mendoza. The raw material comes from ancient olive trees owned by the winery, some of which are over 100 years old.
The year 1933 was witness to the first olive oil factory, featuring a traditional stone mill. It was also the beginning of a major educational task. Students were taught the secrets of making quality oil. Later on, the factory experienced several modernization stages as it gradually adapted its facilities to technological evolution.
In 1954, the attractive building where the factory still works was inaugurated. Currently, the factory boasts high-end technology for the production of first quality oil, including Italian machinery and stainless steel tanks.
The raw material is harvested in small 20-kg plastic bins, and the production process is promptly started so as to prevent alterations and achieve an excellent quality final product.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil’s acidity is less than 0.5 %. It is a blend made from the best oil varietals, containing no additives or preservatives.
